Handmade jewelry to express your unique style

About Iris Madison

I'm Elisa and welcome to my gallery. I'm a phoenix in the handmade jewelry business, trying to fuel the flames of a passion I stepped away from. I have dabbled in a little bit of everything: genetics, aircraft maintenance, forensics, teaching, writing, content creating, blogging, and jewelry making.

All of my jewelry is created with love and a spark of inspiration that I follow; sometimes it's a bead, a picture, a color, a word. I love to visit my local thrift stores and find beautiful pieces to break down into their parts and reimagine into something new.

This past February, I was officially diagnosed with autism, OCD, and anxiety., adding to my reaffirmed bipolar 2, and ADHD diagnoses. On my journey to better understand myself, I began a blog: And On the Mind Goes, and later on a YouTube channel, creating an honest and vulnerable space for those also curious about their brains.

I've been married for over 20 years, and we're the parents to two neurodivergent daughters: my oldest with ADHD and my youngest with Down Syndrome.

While my brain, and house, can be a busy place, it also is constantly firing off ideas, so I find solace in the solitude of being able to step away, sit at my desk, and get lost in the colors of beads and weights of metals. It is a chance for me to create with tools that become like second hands and a constant editing until each piece feels like it has found its end.
